Hey dudes, sorry about my gloomy post yesterday! To get you excited for spring in my new Bushwick back yard, here's a peek at what's already sprouting.
1. My favorite of the flowers I grow, my hydrangeas, are growing nice and green in their plastic containers:
3. My rosemary bush is still going strong after quite a few years, and now it has small purple flowers on it that are hopefully dropping seeds to expand the plant's footprint:
4. My lil' strawberry patch, which I finally removed from the container it was growing in the last few years, is now happily spreading out in the new strawberry bed:
5. And I was surprised to find that my black tulips suddenly appeared over night! Seriously, I swear these were not here 2 days ago. No flowers yet, but the leaves look healthy:
